Field of application

These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all transactions carried out on the planet-triops.com website, including the sale of products and services offered online. By validating an order, the customer unreservedly accepts these general conditions of sale and acknowledges having read them. This acceptance also implies the renunciation of any contradictory condition of purchase.

Article 1: Description of products

In accordance with article L. 111-1 of the French Consumer Code, each product offered for sale is described in detail so that the customer is aware of its essential characteristics before placing an order. The descriptions, accompanied by photos and illustrations, aim to represent the products as faithfully as possible.

Article 2: Ordering and validation

Orders may be placed at any time via the online shop, by e-mail, post or telephone. As soon as his order is registered, the customer accepts without reserve the prices, quantities and conditions of sale in force. The data recorded on the planet-triops.com site are authentic and constitute proof of the transactions concluded between the company and its customers.

Article 3: Pricing

Product prices are indicated per unit, in euros and inclusive of all taxes. Planet-triops.com reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. However, the prices applied will be those in force at the time of order confirmation, subject to product availability.

Article 4: Delivery

Products are sent to the delivery address indicated by the customer when the order is placed. By default, this address corresponds to the billing address. Delivery costs are specified before the order is validated. Planet-triops.com undertakes to use all necessary means to respect the delivery times announced.

However, in the event of delay due to the supplier or the conveyor, the responsibility for planet-triops.com could not be committed. It is up to the customer to check the state of the products with reception and to issue any possible reserve near the conveyor, in accordance with the article L. 133-3 of the Code of Commerce. In the absence of immediate and formal complaint, the products will be regarded as delivered in perfect state and in conformity with the order.

Article 5 : Terms of payment

The payment of the orders is carried out at the time of the purchase on the planet-triops.com site. The means of payment accepted are as follows:

Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)
PayPal
Bank transfer

The order will only be processed once payment has been confirmed.

Article 6: Invoicing

An invoice is systematically issued and sent by e-mail to the customer on the day the order is dispatched. By default, a paper version may be enclosed in the parcel. However, on simple request, we may not include it in order to remain neutral on the amount paid.

Article 7: Return of goods

The customer has a period of 14 days from the date of delivery to return any product that does not suit him/her. However, this situation remains exceptional, as orders are generally drawn up on the basis of a personalised quotation.

The return costs are entirely at the customer's expense.

For returns to be accepted, the following conditions must be met:

Prior contact: Before any return, the customer must inform planet-triops.com and obtain its agreement.
State of the product: The product must be turned over in perfect state, in its intact packing of origin.

If the return is validated, the ensign planet-triops.com is committed refunding the customer by bank transfer, on the basis of the price of the products concerned. No return in against-refunding will be accepted.

Article 8: Guarantees and defective products

The ensign planet-triops.com could not be held responsible for the hidden defects being able to affect the delivered products. However, in the event of obvious defect, the customer must imperatively announce the problem to the ensign within 48 hours after reception of the product, under penalty of not being able to assert his rights.

If a defect is recognised, the product will be accepted for return and a credit note will be issued for a susequent order. Cash on delivery will not be accepted.

Article 9: Responsibility The planet-triops.com sign could not be held responsible for the inexecution of an order in the following cases:

Out-of-stock condition or unavailability of the ordered product.
Case of absolute necessity such as natural disasters, fires, accidents or any other unforeseeable event preventing the delivery.
Disruptions or strikes, whether total or partial, affecting transport or logistics services.

To in no case, the planet-triops.com ensign could not be held responsible for the indirect damage related to the delivered products or not, in particular in the event of loss of exploitation, profit or commercial opportunity.

Article 10: Applicable law

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, the Tribunal Judiciaire de Nîmes (Gard, France) shall have sole jurisdiction.

Article 11: Protection of personal data

The planet-triops.com sign undertakes to respect the confidentiality of the personal data provided by its customers. This information is used only within the framework of the treatment and the follow-up of the orders and will not be to in no case transmitted to thirds.

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, all customers have the right to access, rectify, modify or delete their personal data.
